Sir Percy, you definitely did the right thing by playing it safe and leaving Chauvelin. Good thinking old chap! If it were me I would of just punched him while I still had the chance, and knocked him out anyway. But, you are the one and only “Scarlet Pimpernel”. You are much wiser than me indeed, and definitely more experienced. The way he choked on his snuff, Ha! Priceless! That Chauvelin is a dirty man and one day someone will take him down, just as the way he does to get what he wants. That day will come soon, but unfortunately we didn’t have the pleasure of doing so.
